Today marks the first day of change.
Summer is basically over, Autumn is on the way, and I'm finally making a change in my life.

This past year has turned out... not that great.
Getting stuck in a crappy job, having to get myself fired because they wouldn't let me quit, not getting to do the one big thing I look forward to each year (for the first time in over 12 years), the list goes on.

*ADDED* Don't get me wrong, some great things have happened to me, but the whole job thing really killed things for me. *ADDED*

And I've let myself go, becoming nocturnal and only getting up for work in the afternoon and such.

Today is change.

What good is it to stay holed up your whole life?
Especially when life has so much to offer! This month it's all about bettering myself. Getting up in the morning, finally using that WiiFit, and getting my life right.
All the while grooving to this month's anthem, September by Earth, Wind, & Fire. [link]

Fitting that this is actually my favorite time of year to begin with! =D
